Bulk Liquid Storage

Our bulk liquid storage tanks have a combined storage capacity of 18,000 mt in 15 tanks. All storage tanks are stainless steel, coated, insulated, steam heated and temperature controlled.

Storage tanks are “locked out” to ensure the integrity and safe keeping of our customers’ products. We are equipped to load into and out of truck, railcar and vessel. The terminal has 2 truck loading racks for top and bottom loading and a certified truck weigh scale. Our terminal is available to handle your product transfers and storage when you need them - 24/7 flexibility.

Expertise

Our operations personnel have 25 years experience in the safe handling requirements of virtually all liquid products. Terminal supervisors conduct ongoing training programs to update handling and safety procedures.

Safety and Responsible Care

We care for the environment and we meet or exceed all regulatory requirements. Our site is secure and we participate in effective and efficient training programs where we cover such things as confined space entry, slips, falls, proper use of protective equipment, Material Safety Data Sheets (MSDS) and Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS ). Safety meetings are held monthly and we stress the importance of zero incidents by the active contribution of our employees towards a safe environment for themselves, our customers and our suppliers.

Quality Control

In order to ensure that our customers’ products are not compromised, we follow stringent operating practices using dedicated hoses and piping systems. This maintains product integrity and eliminates the need to clean product lines, preventing product loss or contamination.

Railcar Access / Services

There are 2 rail spurs on-site with daily service by Canadian National Railway (CN) and Canadian Pacific (CP) with appropriate containment. The siding is able to accommodate 12 railcars on each spur and steam heating is available. We can off-load multiple products with dedicated pipelines and hoses simultaneously.  Railcar repairs and testing can be arranged to be done on-site.

Vessel Access

TTL is located on Lake Ontario, part of The Great Lakes system which connects to the St. Lawrence Seaway. Ships dock at our terminal from foreign and domestic ports. The dock can accommodate a vessel with: Beam: 23.77 m, Draft: 8 m and LOA: 225 m.
